BOUTTE, La. (WGNO) — A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with a double shooting that occurred in Boutte on Monday night. Two arrested after Ponchatoula hurricane patrol traffic stop leads to drug bust According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, on Sept. 16, deputies responded to the Lily Street and Pine Street area where they found two 15-year-old males with gunshot wounds. One victim had been shot in the hand while the other had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was airlifted to a hospital, where remains in serious condition. During an investigation that night, detectives found enough evidence to obtain a warrant for the suspected shooter's arrest. A parent surrendered the suspect in the late afternoon on Sept. 17 after deputies had searched for him throughout the day. The suspect was arrested and is being charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder.
