Salt Lake City — St. Louis-based industrial piping wholesale distributor Service Metal Products opens the company’s fourth distribution warehouse in  Salt Lake City, Utah. The third-generation family business is excited to bring the Service  Metal way of doing business to its customer base of industrial supply houses in the  Western United States.  Service Metal has signed a 5-year lease for 70,000 square feet of new warehouse and  distribution space just 5 miles west of downtown Salt Lake City. Terms of the lease were  not immediately disclosed.   Service Metal President, Tim Williamson, shares, “We carefully researched locations for  expansion and ultimately chose Salt Lake City for its central location, logistical  infrastructure, and ease in ability to recruit employees.” The distribution warehouse is  expected to kickoff operations by creating more than a dozen jobs in the next 12-18  months.
