EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso has been named one of the top 50 green fleets by the NAFA Fleet Management Association, the City announced in a press release on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The City says it ranked 48th on the list as part of NAFA's 2024 Green Fleet Awards and has been recognized for its efforts to "reduce environmental impact by implementing sustainable vehicle management solutions." “This Green Fleet recognition shows the City of El Paso is making strides in reducing the environmental impact of vehicles by promoting sustainability within our own fleet,” said El Paso’s Chief Transit and Field Operations Officer Ellen Smyth. NAFA is the largest membership organization for vehicle fleet professionals in North America.
