(KRON) – Stolen property, a firearm and more than 30 grams of cocaine were found in a stolen car, according to the Fremont Police Department. At 5 a.m. on Aug. 31, an automatic license plate reader alerted police of a stolen vehicle near Fremont and Washington boulevards. The driver accelerated speed after police attempted to make a traffic stop. Police said they used an intervention technique that halted the car near Thornton Avenue and Blacow Road. All of the three occupants surrendered, according to police.  Photo: Fremont PD The vehicle search yielded an unregistered .40 caliber handgun with a threaded barrel, ammunition and 32 grams of cocaine. Authorities said the officers also located various stolen items including mail, credit cards and passports. San Jose woman dies after falling out of truck performing ‘donuts’ The trio was identified as Milpitas resident Amanda Stacy, Fairfield resident Christian Widjaja and Antioch resident James Spearman. Stacy, 36, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, evading a peace officer with disregard for safety and identity theft. Widjaja, 35, was arrested for possession of ammunition, buying or receiving a stolen vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm and more.  Spearman, 38, has an extensive criminal history, according to Fremont PD. Spearman has convictions for burglary, grand theft and evading a peace officer. He has also been arrested for having a handgun. Spearman was arrested in August for felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm in public, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and more.
