COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A spontaneous decision to play the lottery has won a Midland’s player $375,000, according to the SC Lottery officials.
A $10 Mighty Jumbo Bucks scratch-off caught the customer’s eye, so he bought it, scratched it, and took home the last top prize in the game.
“It was great,” the winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials, who caught up with him after cashing in his big win.
The winning scratch off was bought at the Grocery Convenience Store on the Paxville Hwy in Manning.
Odds of winning $375,000 in the Mighty Jumbo Bucks game was 1 in 960,000.
