WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCBD) – A 9-year-old girl shot while inside a Walterboro home over the weekend suffered wounds to her arm and upper torso, according to new details released Tuesday morning. Deputies with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office and Colleton County Fire Rescue crews were called to Buffalo Lane around 5:50 p.m. Sunday. The child’s mother told first responders that the young girl was inside the home when bullets struck her during a possible domestic dispute. According to the sheriff’s office, an argument between two adult men escalated when shots were fired outside. Bullets entered the home and struck the child.
