BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two firefighters were hurt in a blaze on Madison Street early Tuesday morning, according to fire officials. Crews responded to 537 Madison just before 4 a.m. Tuesday. The fire started on the first floor of the vacant structure. The firefighters that were hurt were both transported to ECMC to be treated. Damages from the fire is estimated at $150,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
