FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The woman killed in a crash in north Fresno early Saturday morning has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner's Office on Monday. The Coroner's Office identified the woman as Gloria Garcia, 74, of Fresno. Woman fatally struck by vehicle in north Fresno On Saturday, officers with the Fresno Police Department say they were called to Blackstone and Spruce avenues at about 3:19 a.m. for a report of a vehicle versus a pedestrian. Police say the vehicle's driver was traveling southbound on Blackstone Avenue in the first lane when he struck Garcia. Detectives say the driver appeared to have had the green light at the time of the collision. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say drugs and or alcohol are not suspected in this collision. This is an ongoing investigation.
