CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Animal League (RAL) is looking for the next rising stars of their 2025 calendars -- and there are only five days left to enter! According to a release, from now until Saturday, Sept. 21, people can enter a photo of their pet to the RAL 2025 Calendar Contest for a chance at fame and stardom. Voting also lasts until Saturday, and every $1 donated equals one vote, with the pets earning the most votes securing a spot in the annual calendar. PREVIOUSLY: Richmond Animal League to host its first Fall Fest The top 12 pets will win a one-month calendar feature as well as a professional photoshoot with Brittany Rose Petography. Every pet that raises $250 will get their photo on a date in the calendar. Here's how you can participate: Vote for your favorite pet Each $1 donation counts as a vote, and the more you donate, the higher the pet climbs! Enter your pet Register your pet in the contest and get friends and family to vote! All funds go directly toward helping RAL save pets in need. The winners will be revealed at RAL's Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. -- which features live music, food, vendors and more!
