(KRON) – Bags of numerous drugs, firearms and cash were found in a search warrant on Thursday, the Richmond Police Department said. At 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Richmond police officers said they noticed a “suspicious” vehicle blocking the sidewalk of a residence near Kelsey and Duboce avenues. Police said the car’s five occupants noticed the officers, exited the vehicle and began walking away. The officer detained the suspects and said there was probable cause to search the car. Officers located two handguns that none of the occupants claimed as their own. One of the firearms was reported stolen out of San Francisco. The five individuals were arrested. Two of the five were on parole, according to Richmond PD. Richmond police officers responded to the scene to serve a search warrant the next day around 6 p.m. Officers said they noticed the same five individuals were detained. The search yielded a loaded handgun, heroin, ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana. Richmond PD said the estimated value of the drugs is more than $40,000.
