WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Starting Tuesday, people in western Sedgwick County will have a more convenient place to handle license plate issues and property taxes. Sedgwick County Treasurer Brandi Baily is opening a new tag and tax office in west Wichita. It will be inside the Kansas Driver’s License Office at 610 S. Tyler Road. “I hope this added location will be more convenient for citizens in west Sedgwick County,” Baily said. "My team is always looking for ways to serve residents faster and more efficiently.” Ramp at busy Wichita interchange closes The new tag office will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, by appointment only, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. It will accept checks and credit cards but not cash. The other two tag offices are at Douglas and Meridian and Kellogg and Edgemoor. They are open Monday through Friday. To make an appointment, click here or scan the QR code. No password is needed.
