Here are the IE Varsity high school football rankings heading into Week 4. IE VARSITY’S HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RANKINGS 1. Centennial (2-2) The Huskies took down Lone Peak, Utah’s top-ranked team. Previous ranking: 1 Up next: Saturday at Liberty (Peoria, Ariz.) 2. Murrieta Valley (2-1) The Nighthawks cruised to a 42-0 victory over Murrieta Mesa. Previous ranking: 2 Up next: Thursday at King 3. Chaparral (3-0) The Pumas can compete defense of their city crown this week. Previous ranking: 3 Up next: Friday at Great Oak 4. Cajon (3-0) The Cowboys beat Newport Harbor despite change of venue. Previous ranking: 4 Up next: Friday at San Jacinto 5. Damien (3-1) The Spartans suffered their first loss of the year to Mira Costa. Previous ranking: 6 Up next: Friday vs. JSerra 6. Vista Murrieta (3-1) The Broncos rallied but fell short in 47-42 loss to Bishop Amat. Previous ranking:7 Up next: Thursday at Temecula Valley 7. Rancho Cucamonga (2-2) The Cougars had little troubles in a 42-14 victory over Valencia. Previous ranking: 8 Up next: Friday at Bishop Amat 8. Upland (2-2) The Highlanders look to rebound after second consecutive loss. Previous ranking: 5 Up next: Thursday at Apple Valley 9. Beaumont (3-1) The Cougars suffered their first loss of the season to Oak Hills. Previous ranking: 10 Up next: Thursday vs. Murrieta Mesa 10. San Jacinto (1-3, two losses by forfeit) The Tigers forfeited two previous wins but beat Rancho Verde. Previous ranking: 11 Up next: Friday vs. Cajon 11. Aquinas (1-2) The Falcons return from a bye for the “Holy War” rivalry game. Previous ranking: 14 Up next: Thursday vs. Notre Dame at Ramona HS 12. Bonita (4-0) The Bearcats won “Smudge Pot” game for a fifth straight time. Previous ranking: 15 Up next: Friday at Kaiser 13. Norco (1-3) The Cougars scored a big 33-28 win over Etiwanda last week. Previous ranking: Bubble Up next: Friday at Citrus Valley 14. Etiwanda (2-2) The Eagles look to bounce back following back-to-back losses. Previous ranking: 9 Up next: Friday vs. Bishop Diego 15. Ayala (2-2) The Bulldogs look to get back on track versus former league foe. Previous ranking: 12 Up next: Friday vs. Glendora 16.
