Organized theft ring investigated by Homeland Security, RI authorities

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The United States Attorney for Rhode Island, Zachary Cunha, will join Homeland Security investigators, Warwick police, and United States Postal Officials, to announce an investigation into a multi-million dollar organized theft crime ring.
In May, Cunha announced the arrests of seven people in Providence, who were charged with stealing millions of dollars through the mail.
Today’s announcement is at 2 p.m. in Providence.
