MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The Mooresville Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old woman, according to a news release. The release states that just after midnight on September 15, police responded to Rocky River Road regarding a pedestrian traffic crash. Upon arriving on the scene, police say they found the victim who was struck by a vehicle that left the scene. She was pronounced dead at the scene. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
