BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Hub of Bakersfield will host the "Party in the Garden" at Sister Cities Garden Park on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024. The celebration will begin from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., celebrating the adoption and future transformation of Central Park at Mill Creek. 11th annual Walk Like MADD event to be held Saturday The event, designed to bring attention to the park's upcoming revitalization, will feature food from Bakersfield restaurants, cocktails, live music, dancing, and various form of entertainment.
