The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) is holding a Rooster Rush Storefront Decorating Contest for South Dakota’s annual pheasant hunting season. Enter in the 2024 decorating contest to show off your pheasant season blaze orange and Fall season themed storefront. The entry deadline is Oct. 10, 2024. Enter by emailing [email protected]. The contest is free to enter. Chamber staff and Rudy the Pheasant will take photos of the storefronts Oct. 14-15, with voting happening on the Chamber’s Facebook page Oct. 16-18, until noon. Votes will be counted according to “likes” on the photo entry’s ORIGINAL post on the Chamber’s Facebook page ONLY. “Likes” on shared posts may not count toward the entrant’s submission. It will be FREE to vote. Beware of scams because the PACC will not ask for any type of payment information in order for you to vote. Entrants have the chance to win custody of the traveling trophy for the coming year.
