KAPOLEI, Hawaii (KHON2) -- Honolulu Fire Department crews have begun fire watch for a wildland fire in Kapolei. No evacuations have been issued at this time and no injuries have been reported. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control before 6 p.m. and deployed drones for fire watch at 9 p.m. In the Incident Commander's last report of the night, the fire has been 65% contained.
