COLLEGE PARK, Md. (DC News Now) -- The City of College Park is gearing up to host its signature College Park Day event. The free event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, from noon until 6 p.m. at the College Park Aviation Museum and Airport. It will feature live music, games, food, inflatables, family-friendly entertainment, free admittance to the aviation museum and more. Hispanic Heritage Month cultural festivities coming to Prince George’s County Limited free parking will be available at the corner lot at Corporal Frank Scott Drive and Lehigh Road, two blocks from the festivities. Free parking will also be available at the College Park-UMD Metro Station WMATA garage and the Herbert Wells Ice Rink/Ellen Linson Pool. Parking will be available on-site for those with disabilities, according to the event's website. The celebration is rain or shine. For more information, click here.
