FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WWLP) - The New England Patriots faced off against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 of the regular season on Sunday. 22News was at Gillette Stadium speaking to fans about how they hope the Patriots season shapes up after their week one win. "There is going to be some ups and down, I know there will be some ups and downs, but they gonna win more games than people think they're going to win," expressed Ronnie Hiley from Macon, Georgia. Last week, the Pats shocked many by beating the Cincinnati Bengals in the first week of the regular season. "I did not think we were going to beat the Bengals," said Worcester resident Austin Zilla. "I was nervous." After the preseason and going into the regular season, the Patriots were expected to get three or four wins. And that was for the whole season. "I always hope and think that the season is going to go great," expressed Diane Krygowski of Budd Lake, New Jersey. While the week one win changed the predictions of many fans, others had a feeling they were going to win and overall have a better season than expected. "Last week kind of had my mind changed," said Patriots fan Jack Wheeler from Bow, New Hampshire. "I think we are going to get about 8 or 9 wins." Krygowski added, "I was really surprised, happily surprised, they won against the Bengals." Many of the fans 22News talked with are expecting the Patriots, under new head coach Jerrod Mayo, to have a decent season, maybe even sneaking into the playoffs. "It's going to be a good season," said Hiley. "It is going to be a great season actually." While it is still very early in the season to be talking about the playoffs, the Patriots have fans like Shirley Krygowski, coming up all the way from Budd Lake, New Jersey, backing them up, "I haven't seen the action yet. I'll have to wait and see." The Patriots lost their home opener 23-20 after the Seahawks scored a field goal in overtime.
