SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- The Minnesota Vikings raced out to an early lead and held on to beat the San Francisco 49ers 23-17 Sunday afternoon in their home opener. The Vikes scored the first 10 points of the game and held a 13-7 lead at the break. They scored the lone TD of the third to balloon the lead to 20-7 entering the fourth. Jacks turn back Augustana in Beef Bowl Sam Darnold threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns. Justin Jefferson caught four passes for 133 yards and one TD. Minnesota is set to host the Houston Texans next Sunday.
