Monday will be sunny and quite warm, with a light haze. Afternoon temperatures will cool down a few degrees but remain above normal for mid-September. A tropical rainstorm developing near the Carolina coast will turn inland Monday evening, spreading clouds in the from the east overnight, along with showers reaching southeastern Ohio. Tuesday morning, and then lifting northward through the day. Temperatures will cool down, as highs fall back to the low 80s. The low-pressure area will drift east into the Appalachians and upper Ohio Valley Tuesday night and Wednesday, resulting in considerable cloud cover and scattered showers.
