After our anniversary trip to Cashiers, we fell in love with the area and decided to take the kids back for a family weekend! We stayed in the coziest little cottage and it was just the perfect little mountain getaway! The house was within walking distance to town, had a fire pit and was situated on a little pond. After surviving four-ish hours of sibling squabbles over who had their foot here or there, we finally made it! We spotted a bear cub on the way to the house! First stop was Whiteside Brewery, such a cool spot with indoor and outdoor seating. The pretzel bites were a huge hit with our crew! We love being able to take our pups with us on vacation. They are part of the family so just feels right for them to go with us. Beau loved going to the dock to look at the pond, surprisingly he didn’t try to jump in! Sitting outside with our morning coffee overlooking this view was the perfect start to the day! The Cashiers Farmer’s Market was a literal dream with locally made goods like honey, granola, cookies and sunflowers! And the best part was the golden retrievers who greeted everyone! I mean give me a store with pumpkins, flowers and pups and I’m a happy girl! We cannot wait to go back to the Cashiers area! Such a sweet spot!
