Suffolk Fire Rescue respond to heavy fire from residence

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the 300 Block of Northbrooke Avenue for a residential structure fire on Saturday.
The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. Crews found heavy fire showing from the second floor of a two-story residential structure.

All occupants were out of the building before crews arrived. The three occupants of the structure were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the incident for origin and cause.
The American Red Cross was requested and will be assisting the three displaced occupants.
