ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) - Ashwaubenon Public Safety is mourning the loss of a beloved retiree, former K9 Ole, who worked on hundreds of cases in his time with the Police. Ole started his career with Officer Young and then spent over five years with Officer Teske. In that time, they had over 660 deployments as a team, with many of them being drug cases. The release added that K9 Ole was a 'deterrence' and helped officers in the arrest of subjects who may have continued to resist without the beloved German Shepherd. Brown County officials unveil Southern Bridge plans at committee meeting, announce expected start date K9 Ole spent his retirement years as a normal house dog, living and enjoying his life with family and friends. "Thank you for your service Ole," the post said. "You were our department's first K9, and you will be greatly missed."
