September is here with cooler temperature and fall festivities just around the corner.  We are loving sipping coffee on our back porch, reading and making cozy dinners at home. And of course, our evenings are full of football with one player and one cheerleader!  Here are a few things I’m loving lately!  I am still swooning over our trip to High Hampton in Cashiers, North Carolina. This entire property is a dream but this gorgeous plate wall caught my eye and has inspired me to create one of my own!  My family says it’s an obsession but I can’t quit the Kennedys! I recently JFK Jr, An Intimate Oral Biography and could not put it down. John F. Kennedy, Jr. is one of the most interesting people I’ve ever read about, the overall theme of any book I’ve read about him is that he was a “good man”. This biography is a collection of stories from John’s lifelong friends-the good, the bad and the ugly-they lay it all out! So fascinating! Order a copy! I picked up a copy of What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking…and believe it or not but it’s got me in the kitchen lots more! I have made several recipes and my family has really enjoyed them! If you’re looking for quick, easy and delicious meals-order this one! We recently went apple picking in North Carolina and came home with a bag full of honeycrisps! My friend, Charla reminded me of baked apples! Not only do baking apples make the house smell amazing but they taste even better! Pro tip: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream! See the recipe here.
