WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a woman was killed and a man was injured after a shooting in Northwest D.C. on Friday night. Police said that at about 10:30 p.m., they were dispatched to 1001 Spring Road for the report of a shooting. Man injured during shooting in Southeast DC When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman and a man who had been shot inside the home. The woman died. She was identified as 33-year-old Tanisha Morris, of Northwest. The man was transported to the hospital.
