CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Fire crews are battling a large vegetation fire visible across North County that broke out Saturday at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Cal Fire reports the Roblar Fire began at 2:55 p.m. Saturday in the area of Case Springs Road on Camp Pendleton. That vegetation fire as of 4 p.m. is burning at 200 acres. Evacuation orders lifted as crews battle vegetation fire in Campo Camp Pendleton put out an advisory Saturday afternoon that smoke may be visible but there is currently no threat to personnel or structures. The Marine Corps Base said the vegetation fire is within the Zulu Impact Area, which is 6.6 miles from Oceanside and 5 miles from Fallbrook. The North County Fire Protection District also issued an advisory that smoke may be visible, but emphasized there is no threat to the areas of Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow. According to Camp Pendleton, there is 0% containment and the cause of the wildfire remains under investigation.
