Arrest made in Burlington shooting investigation, police say

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — The Burlington Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a shooting from August.
According to a news release, Damion Eduardo Tate, 18, of Durham, was arrested Friday and charged with the following:
Two counts of attempted first-degree murder
Conspiracy to commit armed robbery with a dangerous weapon
Discharging a firearm inside of an enclosure to incite fear and
Discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.
On August 23, the BPD responded to a shots fired call at the intersection of Madison Street and Jackson Street.
No injuries were reported; however, at the scene, officers found a car had been struck by gunfire. They also said multiple victims and witnesses at the scene claimed to have been shot at by unknown suspects.
Tate is being held at the Alamance County Detention Center under no bond.
