One of the finalists, Neil Mackinnon, has withdrawn as he has been selected to be president of another university, NMSU officials said. The New Mexico State University Board of Regents will hold a closed meeting from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in Hadley Hall, Room 130, on the Las Cruces campus. The meeting has been called to interview finalists for the president of NMSU, and the interview will be closed to the public. The regents will take no official board action during this meeting.
