Just over a week after his arrest for felony domestic violence, Artem Chigvintsev removed any mention of wife from his Instagram bio, only to reinstate the reference to their marriage a short time later. As of Saturday afternoon, the 42-year-old “Dancing With the Stars” pro’s bio ended with “@nikkigarcia ” — though Us Magazine reported her name had been axed from the page on Friday. The move comes amid reports that 40-year-old Nikki Garcia — better known as retired WWE star Nikki Bella — began searching for a divorce attorney on Friday, Aug. 30, the day after Chigvintsev’s arrest for felony corporal injury of a spouse. Chigvintsev was arrested in Napa County the morning of Aug. 29 and released that afternoon on $25,000 bail. Earlier this week, a spokesman for the Napa County District Attorney’s Office told TMZ that the office was reviewing the case against Chigvintsev before deciding whether to formally charge the “Strictly Come Dancing” alum. Last Saturday, Garcia was spotted for the first time since her husband’s arrest and was not wearing her wedding ring — nor was she donning the diamond when she hosted the live hot dog-eating competition “Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef” for Netflix on Labor Day. Just three days before the arrest, Garcia and Chigvintsev — who together share 4-year-old son Matteo — commemorated their second wedding anniversary on their respective Instagram accounts.
