Don’t even think of going outside without enough water to cope with the heat wave
Sep 07, 2024
The heat wave isn’t over. Saturday is going to be sticky from the mountains to the sea.
You can expect the temperature to be in the mid-80s if you plan to attend the University of San Diego’s home football game with Central Washington, which gets underway at 1 p.m.
The Padres will host the San Francisco Giants starting at 5:40 p.m., when the temperature will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. And temperatures will be in the 70s when San Diego State University hosts Oregon State University at Snapdragon Stadium, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Forecasters said it’s possible the monsoon will produce thunderstorms in the San Diego County mountains and valley communities. Immediately seek shelter if you hear thunder.
