Syracuse, N.Y. —Almost 30 years to the day that Hootie & the Blowfish catapulted to fame with an appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Sept. 2, 1994, the South Carolina rockers, along with fellow 1990′s staples Collective Soul and Edwin McCain, took an estimated crowd of 14,000 plus at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview back.
