Cedar House Life Change Center, a nonprofit based in Bloomington, held its fifth annual Golf Classic Aug. 19 at the Victoria Club in Riverside, raising $35,000. The event kicked off with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and golfers teed off at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and an awards ceremony followed the tournament, with trophies awarded to first-, second- and third-place winners. Those who won the longest drive, closest to the pin, cornhole and puttingcontests received gift cards. Winning first place was a foursome from ABC Recovery Center — William Spicknall, Brock Jenikovsky, John Birchard and Dalton Murphy. Proceeds from the event will go to Cedar House’s expansion efforts. “This was an outstanding day to raise awareness and much-needed funds for Cedar House. We appreciate all who came out to support our cause and our vision to expand our services for the Inland Empire community,” Jamie Lamb, Cedar House chief executive officer, said in a news release. Cedar House Life Change Center provides treatment for people affected by addiction. Its Bloomington facility is at 18612 Santa Ana Ave. For information, go to cedarhouse.org.
