PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said that beam demolition will begin on the westbound side of the Washington Bridge. There will be overnight closures on Gano Street in Providence where it passes under I-195 to allow crews to work safely during the process.
