LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- The Capital One Tower, the tallest building in Lake Charles, is no more.
The building was imploded beginning at 8 a.m. this morning. Watch above as Lloyd D. Nabors Demolition takes the building down with a controlled implosion.
The building has been a blight on the city since it was heavily damaged during the 2020 hurricanes. It became a symbol of Hurricane Laura's destruction and has been vacant and unusable since.
