ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – One man was injured after a stabbing inside an apartment on State Street overnight Saturday. Rochester police say they responded to State Street near Morrie Silver Way around 1:15 a.m. for the report of a person stabbed and found a 43-year-old man who was suffering from at least one stab wound to the upper body. The man was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by AMR with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, the stabbing happened during an altercation between the victim and suspect inside an apartment on State Street. There are no suspects in custody at this time. Rochester police ask for anyone with information to call 911.
