The University of Hawaii women's volleyball team took its first loss of the 2024 season in a 25-15, 25-27, 21-25, 20-25, 15-11 loss to Pepperdine at the Stan Sheriff Center on Friday night.

After another rough first set, the Rainbow Wahine won the second and third sets but couldn't quite close out the match.
Caylen Alexander had 23 kills but also had 15 errors, which were both match highs. Meanwhile, Tayli Ikenaga had a program record 27 digs.
For Pepperdine, Grace Chillingworth had a team-high 20 kills with eight digs and a block, hitting .381.
