HONOLULU (KHON2) -- EMS reported to an assault incident in Waianae Friday night, just before 7:30 p.m. Get Hawaii's latest morning news delivered to your inbox, sign up for News 2 You EMS said a 29-year-old female was treated for multiple injuries and taken to the hospital in stable condition at 7:30 p.m. Paramedics are unsure of how the injuries were inflicted. HPD also initially reported an attempted homicide in Makaha, via a media alert, around 7:30 p.m. as well but they later sent this statement: "Notification being made to clarify the last entry time noted as 1933 hrs. This was only an update to the homicide that was time noted 0155 hrs. (87-0021 Farrington Hwy.)  There was no new homicide that occurred." This report has been adjusted accordingly.
