Search of TN home leads to large amount of drugs, guns

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A search warrant on a Haywood County home led to multiple guns and a large amount of drugs, officials say.
The West Tennessee Drug Task Force, along with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Brownsville Police Department served a search warrant at a home on Poplar Corner on Wednesday.

Reports say agents seized more than 1,000 grams of marijuana, marijuana edibles, three vials of morphine sulfate, a felony amount of Lorazepam, multiple weapons, electronic scales, a large amount of ammunition, and nearly $38,000 in suspected drug money.

A man was arrested and allegedly admitted to agents that he sold drugs. He is charged with Possession of Schedule II, IV, and VI drugs with intent, Possession of Weapon During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He is being held at the Haywood County Jail.
