(NEXSTAR) — Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer is, unfortunately, here. If you're on the road or missing a cookout ingredient as you celebrate Labor Day, here's what will - and won't - be open on September 2. Right out of the gate, we can say that you won't be getting any mail on Monday. The U.S. Postal Service observes Labor Day, taking the day off. Most services offered by UPS, FedEx, and Amazon are also unavailable. Banks will close for Labor Day too, but ATMs will, in most cases, still be accessible. Though you likely won't be receiving any packages and can't stop into a bank, many retailers will be open for Labor Day. Hours may vary by location, so it's best to call ahead or check your store's hours online before heading out. Pharmacy services in each store may also be unavailable on Labor Day. Here's a look at retailers that will be open on Monday: Albertsons Big Lots (unless your store recently closed) Dollar General Kroger stores Sprouts Target Trader Joe’s Walmart Whole Foods Pharmacies at stores like CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Wegmans may have limited hours, or close entirely, on the holiday. Call ahead or check your location’s hours online before trying to pick up a prescription. Other retailers, including ALDI and Sam's Club, will be open but with limited hours. Costco stores will be closed. If you're looking for a quick bite, most fast food chains will be open on Monday. That includes Chick-fil-A, which closes for most other major holidays. Its fellow chicken-focused restaurant, Raising Canes, will be closed for Labor Day. Applebee’s Burger King Chick-fil-A Chipotle Denny’s Domino’s Dunkin’ IHOP In-N-Out Jersey Mike’s KFC McDonald’s Noodles Olive Garden Panera Bread Pizza Hut Qdoba Red Lobster Ruth’s Chris Steak House Sonic Starbucks Taco Bell Waffle House Wendy’s It's worth noting that some locations may have limited hours on Labor Day.
