Lyon County Sheriff’s Office UPDATE: The Lyon County Sheriff's Office submitted the following press release: On July 25, 2024, at approximately 10:05 PM, Lyon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 400 block of Brookfield Ct. in Dayton, Nevada for a report of a disturbance. During the initial investigation, it was determined that the subject was 49-year old Paul Carnahan of Dayton, Nevada. Information gathered on scene revealed that Carnahan had left a residence armed with a knife and was suffering from multiple injuries. As the investigation continued, deputies determined that Carnahan had battered a female subject prior to fleeing the residence.
