WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — Two families are displaced after a fire on Batterson Avenue in Westerly. The call came in around 6 a.m. According to officials, the start of the fire was due to an electrical fire in the kitchen ceiling. There was very little extension, said Fire Chief John Mackay.
