A dog was abandoned on the side of a Long Island highway with a note requesting she get “good care,” according to police. New York State Troopers discovered Roxi, a 4-year-old American bull mastiff, tied to a pole next to the westbound lanes of the Southern State Parkway in North Massapequa, cops said. When cops found the pooch, she was on a leash next to a bowl filled with food. Also next to Roxi was a note that read: “She has been fed and given a flea bath. She may still have issues with them. See that she gets good care.” The note left with Roxi, a 4-year-old American bull mastiff.
