MCPD: Search continues for man who punched Giant Food employee, stole cash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) are searching for a man who allegedly punched an employee and robbed the Giant Food store in Bethesda.
MCPD said on June 25 at around 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the grocery store located in the 7100 block of Arlington Road for a robbery.

During the investigation, detectives learned that a man, shown in the pictures below, allegedly entered the store to return stolen merchandise to receive a cash refund. Police said when the store refused to give him the cash, he punched an employee and snatched money from another worker before getting away.
