WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) announced Thursday that they've started rolling out signage in Spanish. In a post on X, WMATA said that Spanish language fare charts will be at all stations in order to make Metro more accessible. The signs feature the fare rates for all Metro stations, advertise adding SmartTrip cards to riders' mobile wallets and who might be eligible for reduced fare rates.
