ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man was killed in a car crash in Steuben County Wednesday night. According to New York State Police, the fatal crash happened on Rt. 371 near Rt. 21 in the Town of Cohocton. Investigators said the driver passed another vehicle in a no-passing zone, lost control, left the roadway, and rolled over. The passenger of the car, a 26-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said he was ejected from the car. The driver was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
