FALMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Cape Cod officials are warning beachgoers of regulations ahead of the holiday weekend.
In a Facebook post, the Falmouth Police Department said there would be “plain clothed” officers patrolling beaches, after last year’s “unacceptable criminal activity/behavior.”
There would be heavy police presence at select time.
They also shared that all bags and coolers would be subjected to be searched.
There is zero tolerance for alcohol consumption and marijuana use in public and disorderly conduct, they said.
