NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Four individuals were taken to the hospital after an altercation following an attempted robbery in New Bedford last night. According to officials, a group of four adult males were confronted by a group of suspects dressed in dark clothes around midnight. The suspects then attempted to rob them at the Deane Street, North Front Street intersection, said police. An alleged struggle ensued, in which the victims sustained injuries that were non-life threatening. They were taken to the hospital for treatment, according to officials.
