LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — A California man was arrested by the Lincoln Police Tuesday night after allegedly waving a stolen firearm during an argument. According to officials, police responded to to the parking lot of R1 Indoor Karting around 3 p.m. after report of an argument in the parking lot According to the report, a male had brandished a firearm at another individual. The suspect had been reported to be driving a white tractor-trailer with an unidentified female. Immediately, officers located the described vehicle, attempting to locate the parking lot. The male suspect was identified as 20-year-old Bawa Diwasjeet of Fresno, California. He was detained on the scene while officers investigated the complaint further, according to a release. During the investigation, officers found the firearm in his car to find that it had been stolen from California. Diwasjeet was arrested and transported to Lincoln Police Department Headquarters. Diwasjeet was charged with the following: 1. Felony Assault; 2. Carrying a Stolen Firearm; 3. Carrying a Stolen Firearm when Committing a Crime of Violence; 4. Possession of a Stolen Firearm; 5.
