LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) — A California man is facing a slew of charges after he allegedly brandished a stolen firearm in Lincoln on Wednesday. Police accuse 20-year-old Bawa Diwasjeet of brandishing a firearm at someone after getting into an argument on Higginson Avenue. SEE ALSO: Police say man threatened officers with gun during Warren standoff Diwasjeet was seen getting into a white tractor-trailer after the incident. Officers later detained Diwasjeet and recovered a firearm from inside the truck's cabin. Police say the weapon was previously stolen in California.
